Former President Trump's hush money trial in New York has been delayed at least 30 days.

Moving the trial set to begin March 25th to the middle of April.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had said he would support a 30-day delay

while the Trump legal team had asked for 90 days explaining it needed more time to review thousands of pages of new evidence

obtained from a previous federal investigation into the matter.

The former president is charged with falsifying business records to cover up payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels

before the 2016 election. He faces 34 felony counts and is pleaded not guilty.

Boxes Christian Goodwin, a special prosecutor, Hyde to assist in the Georgia election interference

case against former President Trump, has resigned from the case after coming under scrutiny

for a past romantic relationship with Fulton County District Attorney

Fani Willis.

Nathan Wade's resignation means the case can continue.

An independent commission investigating last year's mass shooting in Maine

has issued its preliminary report.

The Commission was created by Maine's governor and attorney general to study the state's worst

mass shooting in the response to it.

It finds the Saginawahaw County Sheriff's Office had cause to take the killer into custody

before the outburst that left 18 people dead.

Relatives had warned months before that Robert Card had grown paranoid and had access to guns.

The Army had barred Card, a reservist from handling weapons.
