Meeting cancelled. I'm Lee Silasera Fox News. Israel's prime minister calls off a

planned high-level meeting in Washington to discuss the Israel Hamas

bore over a vote at the United Nations.

A UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan passed with 14 of the

15 UN Security Council members voting yes.

The resolution also called for the release of hostages but the US

ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas Greenfield said the US was abstaining here that involved

parties must recommit to peace. Hamas can do that by accepting the deal on the table.

A ceasefire can begin immediately with the release of the first hostage.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said because the US failed to veto the resolution,

he will no longer be sending a delegation of senior officials to the White House to discuss future

military plans. The White House National Security Council spokesman says they will continue having conversations

with their Israeli counterparts.

Meanwhile House Republicans are asking Speaker Mike Johnson to send a letter to Netanyahu

Yahoo to ask him to speak before a joint session of Congress to give an

update on the war which Speaker Johnson says he plans to do. The hush money trial of

former President Trump said to start April 15th in New York. But Donald Trump's legal team is filing another motion

to have the case delayed again, this time

because of pretrial publicity.

The defense team has argued before that any media attention, previous media attention, may have tainted any jury pool.
