I cannot believe we are already recording this.

Every year when we do this episode is just straight chaos.

Well, because what happens is that I personally have so many moments of needing to process the fact that the year is done. And that

always exists for me. I'm telling you, M. This year is different. I will be doing that a lot

throughout this episode. I actually do agree with you that this year feels different. I know every

December, it's like, wow, this year flew by, but it does feel particularly strong this year.

I'm telling you factually it was. The way that we do this episode is essentially we go through

every month. We put in some of the most viral stories, some of the best comments, some of the

most viral moments. We have about a 12-page outline in front of us, yet as we're going through it,

it's not like our normal outline where there's so much information for each. It's pretty much

just bullet points. So as we're discussing it, we just go on these tangents and then we remember

what it was like to be living through that pop culture moment. So all to say, you're about to be on a journey

with us. And welcome. We are so happy to have you. I love these episodes. I cannot wait to see how

this one is going to go. I mean, it's a very much fuck around and find out type situation. I think that we

take it not less seriously, but we feel the need to present less of the facts because all of these

stories that we have covered, we covered extensively. So now it's like, you guys have the facts.

We're kind of just reminiscing. Right. And for me, it's also that I put this outline together.

So I kind of had the chance already to reminisce on all of these stories and what happened throughout the year.
