0:09.8	You know, one of my favorite quotes growing up was in this book, me and my mom used to read called
0:15.8	Apples of Gold, which we would read actually living in a women's shelter.
0:20.8	This book was incredible. I actually
0:22.6	tried to find one on Amazon in recent years, and I do have a copy of apples of gold,
0:28.8	but I don't think it's the same one. Anyone heard of it? Apples of Gold? It's really, really old,
0:34.7	and it was a bit of a crumbly old book even back then.
0:43.8	But anyway, I want to share with you this quotation that my mom and I loved, and we'd repeat often, and then explore it a bit with you today.

0:47.9	The quote was this, the man is the richest whose pleasures are cheapest.
0:54.3	So think about that. The person is the richest. The are cheapest. Right.
0:54.4	So think about that.
0:55.1	The person is the richest.
0:57.1	The richest person is the person whose pleasures are cheapest.
1:01.9	I love it because it doesn't mean the person who's the rich doesn't have nice things.
1:07.1	Well, the person who's rich can't afford that designer stuff.
1:10.3	So they'll have the not so nice
1:12.2	stuff and they're just going to be happy with that no it doesn't mean that at all it means that the
1:18.7	person who finds pleasure and simple things like fresh air birds singing the smell of coffee
1:24.9	laughing with their kids looking at at the moon, a simple walk outside.
1:32.5	Those of us who find pleasure in simple things, often these things are completely free.
