Today we are going to do something a wee bit different.

We were going to be

a Jamie chapter and Storm of Swords, but we've had a lot of influx of new

listeners and people reaching out, whether it be through comments or

emails, saying that, you know, their TV show watchers only and they would love to know where to get started with the books,

should they do the main series, should they read Fire and Blood. So we decided that maybe it would be a great time

before we jump back into pure books that we would get a kind of a beginner's guide or maybe better yet an overview

slash reminder of everything in the Asung of Ice and Fire universe that's been

published different entry points to it in the Song of Ice and Fire universe that's been published,

different entry points to it, and you know,

where to start and what you're interested in

and maybe some of the stuff that's also been overlooked a little bit.

But first and foremost, Matt, we were off a week. How are you? Did you enjoy your week?

I did, man. I went to the beach. Nice little getaway. Unfortunately, you know, there was some negative Game of Thrones news that came out with you and I just had a big patron episode about that talking about Georgia's blog post. You know, you and I were getting to it late, so I think we were just like, well, let's just do it over there because it is also like crazy heavy

spoilers that he also very heavy spoilers yeah yeah where he was kind of critical of some of the changes that they made you and I were actually a little I was a little

intrigued actually at the thing he was taken aback by which was the blood and cheese

moment because you and I were also a little critical of it.

But that wasn't really a lot of people's issues with the season two.

So the whole thing is just really kind of interesting to me.
