her ministry.

This third talk is entitled A Father's Forgiveness, and I know that some of you are probably

thinking, well, this is the strangest series on prayer, she's not telling us how to

pray or when to pray or what about the answers and all that, I'm just trying to give you

some principles which have come to me through the years of trying to learn to pray, and

the older I get, I think simpler I get, the more I do really believe that he is my father

and I'm a child, and I need to just learn to come to him with this trusting dependence,

just an utter, wholehearted surrender of myself each day.

That's a decision that can be made, I think, once and for all, but it has to be validated

and ratified day after day in the way we live.

So we now come to that phrase, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass

against us.

As I said last night, I really see the Lord's Prayer as being the perfect and all-inclusive

model for prayer as we would expect it should be since the disciples asked Lord teach

us to pray, and this was His answer.

This is the way you are to pray, He said, when you pray, say this.
