A federal judge in Washington, D.C., has issued a temporary order,

stopping a White House freeze on federal funding on grants and loans.

U.S. District Judge Lauren Ali Khan issued the block of the White House action a matter of minutes prior to it taking effect.

In making her decision,

Judge Ali Khan said the freeze could potentially bring irreparable harm. A lawyer for non-profits

and small businesses argued for the injunction saying the pause could severely limit their operations.

This lawsuit is separate from one that has been threatened by several Democratic

attorneys generals saying the pause could affect law enforcement actions or, in California's case,

funding to fight wildfires. A full hearing on the matter is scheduled for February 3rd.

Foxes, Colonel Scott, the state attorney's generals have now filed their own suit, saying the pause could last weeks or months and the late clarification that it wasn't across the board only adds confusion.

Fox News has learned that the Pentagon is pulling retired general Mark Milley's security detail and his security clearance effective immediately.

And defense secretary, Hig Sethh is directing the new acting inspector general

to conduct a review to determine if there is enough evidence for General Millie to be demoted in retirement

based on what he says are his actions to undermine the chain of command during President Trump's first term.

President Trump has issued in order to stop federal funding for gender-affirming care for minors.
