Now, light and darkness battling back and forth is the basis for evolutionary progress.

It is a function controlled by the Creator.

He's at the switches.

He decides if our lives experience darkness or light and when he's

in control the universe just like the electricity in your house indulges electricity in alternating currents, which necessitates equal amounts of darkness and light in order to bring a zero balance or charge. Nothingness. That means your life must consist of the same,

right up to and including the dissemination of thought. So just keep that in mind for right now,

as we're going to get into that pretty deeply soon.

So as we've said, the house is a metaphor for the brain

and the basement a metaphor describing the abyss of the unconscious mind, while the

stairs are the conduit of the subconscious mind between, leading into the realization

or light of the first floor, it isn't difficult to understand how this

plays out from a symbolic standpoint.
