Summary

Welcome to A Little Less Mess, it's our companion episode to our main weekly releases. In ALLM, you will find just the facts, no opinions, no jokes, no banter, but do not fear! If you would like to hear our full thoughts on this case (and inappropriate jokes) check out the weekly regular episodes released on Thursdays (they're the numbered episodes).

We are headed to North Carolina this week. Nancy and Brad Cooper moved from Canada to Cary, North Carolina and were living in idealistic life in the affluent suburb outside of Raleigh. In 2008, Nancy went for a run but never returned, just two days after going missing, Nancy's body was found. As police investigate, they uncover a contentious divorce, affairs, and a heated child custody battle, all signs were pointing to Brad but with little evidence, it would take years to get justice for Nancy.

Fun Fact: North Carolina got the nickname the Tar Heel State because workers here used to sell tar, pitch, and turpentine from the state's longleaf pine trees to be used in wooden ships. Legend has it that some British soldiers were slowed down when they stepped in sticky North Carolina tar during the Revolutionary War.
