Hello, everybody. I know that it has been so long, probably since you have heard my voice on this feed.

This is Rory Scoville, one of the co-hosts of Dads, the podcast. I co-hosted with Ruthie Wyatt.

And I just wanted to address to all the fans out there who on Instagram or Twitter or who have reached out in any way whatsoever with a DM or an email

or whatever, wondering if there's going to be some more dads, the podcast episodes. I just want you to

know from the very bottom of my heart, that means everything to me because I really love that

show and what we created. And I just wanted to give you an update on sort of where we stand and what happened with

our podcast.

It right before we started recording or maybe after we actually had a couple episodes,

I went through a pretty huge event in my life.

My dad passed away on June 26 of last year. And I came back

from that experience, obviously permanently changed and I'm still dealing with it. And I'm still

coping with it and learning how to deal with the grief of it.

And I think as we were recording episodes, I decided that I still wanted to forge ahead in making a podcast that not only addressed people's relationships with their own dads, because that's what the show was, but we also interviewed

many parents, not just men. We interviewed women, and we kind of talked about the world of

parenting. And as a parent, someone who has a six-year-old daughter, I also wanted to hear

other people's perspectives on what that experience is like, because it's something that I have

to provide for someone else.

And to let you all know, sort of a peek behind the curtain, the more episodes we did of that show,

I found it more and more difficult to approach the topic of asking other people about their

experiences as dads and also their relationships with their

dads. And I found myself avoiding certain questions or conversations or paths that Ruthie

and I could have gone down with our guests because, you know, quite frankly, it was very
