It's a message from the stars who sent the wow signal aliens.

For sure it was aliens, or it was like a pigeon on the chimney or something, you know, just confusing the senses or whatever. Well, we're going to find out, aren't we? Imagine for a moment that many light years away on the far side of the galaxy, there

lies the world of Disco Biscuit, a small planet of little consequence.

Bose the inhabitants of Discobiscuit are of the rather arrogant opinion that they are entirely

alone in the universe, but a few of the scientists are convinced that there must be other

intelligent life lurking out there somewhere

in the unfathomable vastness of space, and some of them even claimed to have picked up some peculiar

activity from a region far away at the other side of the teapot of Sagittarius.

So one day they took it upon themselves to blast a signal into that region and announced

their presence.

Although there was always likely to be something of a language barrier, the idea was that the

short signal would be broadcast in such a way that any advanced life out there would be able

to immediately recognize it as a sound of intelligence transmission rather than some kind of natural universe burp.

However, after nearly 50 years had passed a scientist of disco biscuit are yet to receive a reply of any kind.

Shrugging in defeat, they eventually concluded that they might have to leave it a few more

million years before their celestial neighbors get around to evolving opposable thumbs and

inventing radio telescopes.
