when they were rescued from the deteriorating and dilapidated house of Ariel Castro, a bus driver

for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Lily was the first victim of Castro when in August of 2002 he lured, tricked, and kidnapped

her outside of a local family dollar store.

Lily then entered a hellish nightmare.

Eight months later, Castro kidnapped 16-year-old Amanda Berry, forcing her to experience

the same torture, and the following year, Castro kidnapped yet another young girl, 14-year-old
