to check them out. Nothing. Then, shortly after midnight, a detective happened upon Kimberly's

minivan about 200 yards from the parking lot where her umbrella lay abandoned. He shined his flashlight

inside and saw Kimberly's nude body laying in the back seat.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Kimberly had been raped prior to being strangled to death.
