Fox. Hey this is Trey, and this is sort of an unexpected podcast. I don't know what got over me,

but I decided to do a podcast from the Democrat National Convention, which I have never, I guess

two months ago I had never attended a single convention and now I have attended to in the

course of a month. and it just struck me that politics is a little bit like what's about to come up which for me is Christmas that's college football that you share a common interest in something like politics or

football but you pull for different teams and my wife usually travels with me and she was very worried that people might not be nice to me at the Democrat National Convention.

And I can tell you, sweetheart, people have been beyond nice at the d and see I've run into colleagues that I served

with on the other side they could not be colleagues who work for other cable news networks that could not be nicer. So up until this point,

knock on wood, not a single solitary person has been anything other than kind.

But I don't really want to talk about politics.

There's been enough of that.

I want to talk about something else. My wife had this great idea. My father has been going to the University of South Carolina football games. I think he said since he was in diapers. I think his

exact words were I don't want to be in diapers when I attend my last game but I

wasn't a diaper when I attended my first game. So up until

recently my father would drive himself down to Columbia, South Carolina even for for late games, even for like 8 o'clock kickoff, 730 kickoffs,

he would drive down to Williams Rice Stadium and then drive back. The game might be over with at 11 11 he'd have to sit in the parking lot till midnight

It's two hours back home and then he'd always have to get up and go to Sunday school and that's a lot I couldn't do it at my age I couldn't do it when I was in my

20s but he was doing it up until he was in his 80s.
