Summary

Part one of the investigation into the murder of Kari Baker. In 2006, Matt Baker returned to his Texas home to find his wife, Kari, dead next to an empty bottle of sleeping pills and a suicide note. Police ruled it a suicide but her family believed otherwise and started their own investigation. But then a surprise witness changed everything. “48 Hours" Correspondent Erin Moriarty reports. 1:23.6	And I call out her name and there's no response.
1:26.6	And I immediately pick up the phone and call 911.
