Here at E.B. We have a really amazing event coming soon that I wanted to let you know about but before I do that I

want to tell you a story let me take you back to the year 2019 our audience

had been asking for an evidence-based birth conference.

They've been asking for this four years and me and the team here at EBB were eager to

gather our community in person.

So we took a really big leap that year.

We booked a conference venue, hired an event management team,

scheduled speakers, and launched ticket sales to our community.

The response was incredible.

Tickets sold out in a matter of days,

so we expanded the space at the conference,

released more tickets, and those tickets sold out as well.

And hundreds of birth workers came from all over the world to attend this conference, and

we had an amazing time. Our team here at Evidence Based Birth also learned a lot of lessons about running an event like this.

One of the lessons that we learned is that having an in-person event like this was not the best fit for our team

who was used to working remotely. It stretched our team in a good way but it also

overstretched our capacity. It was also a huge financial risk for our small

family-owned business to take at the time to host such a big in-person event.
