In January of 2022, Deputy Abigail Bieber of the Hillsborough County (FL) Sheriff’s Office went away for a long weekend with her boyfriend, Detective Daniel Leyden who worked for the same agency. What happened would put a spotlight on the issues of officer-involved domestic violence and, for Abby’s family, lead to a mission to stop this from happening to anyone else.

talking about Abigail Bieber, who was born in March of 1991 in Washington, D.C. She grew up in the

area with her parents, Bruce and Sarah, as well as two older brothers, Ben and Daniel.

Abby attended the University of Maryland, and in 2016, she moved down to Florida.

In 2018, she joined the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and started where most people start as a patrol deputy.
