Today, what is it really like to be an adolescent in 2025?

What do you like about being a boy?

Not much.

Not much.

Why?

I think there's a lot of negative stereotypes about being a boy at the moment.

I think they've always been there, but at the moment.

I think they've always been there,

but at the moment especially with a lot more women speaking up about being either sexually assaulted or things of that sort.

A lot of men, even if you know you've never done anything of the sorts,

you do feel partly a guilt for your whole sex having this negative

stigma around it. If someone says masculine to me, I would sort of jump to negative connotations

of toxic masculinity straight away. I wouldn't see it as a positive thing.

The thought that comes to my mind is you've got to be strong,

you've got to be able to make your keep,

and you've got to be able to look after everyone.

You've got to be kind of not ruthless with decisions,

but also be bold of your decisions,

not have to think twice about whatever you're saying,

and you can't express emotions.

Everyone is talking about adolescence at the moment.
