0:07.0	So Mandy I'm so excited to have you on the podcast. I actually remember you from my best friend

0:27.0	And so I kind of remember you from those days,
0:31.0	but I don't think I, I don't know, know I'm sure paths crossed at some point or another but
0:36.4	Most likely yeah so most likely but I probably don't remember but same same. So I was so excited to hear that you you know just that you came back to the church and I'm I'm so excited to hear your story so if you want to just start at the beginning I'd love to start there and hear all the things.
1:01.0	Sure. I'm super excited to be on too. I was a little nervous and
1:06.7	hesitant at first because it's intimidating but so it started when I when I was growing up my parents we were raised in Wyoming
1:21.6	until about seven years old and my mom and dad got divorced and so we moved
1:27.0	to Utah and we moved to Oram and Provo area, and from there, when I was about eight years old, I got baptized
1:38.0	in the church, and I can remember how good it felt at that moment in my life, even at a young age,
1:49.0	and just having the knowledge of like a protection you know and it felt really good so
1:58.4	later on so we we lived with my mom me and my two brothers have grew up with mostly my mom at a young age.
2:07.0	My dad, he was kind of left in the dust from my mom and not really having the chance to see us as a kid.
2:19.4	So that was kind of hard growing up in that way.
2:26.2	But after a while, we ended up living with my dad because my mom got into a really abusive relationship
2:35.8	and this was probably when I was about I want to say 12 and so when I moved with my dad, it was kind of easier to go to church for me because I had neighbors that would take me and I was the one who actually wanted to go.
2:57.6	My brothers they stayed at home and my dad he was just inactive.
3:02.1	He he was still believed in the church but he just never went
3:07.8	So I ended up getting my young women's medallion on my own and that was a huge accomplishment for me.
3:15.6	I felt like I had women or you know sisters around me that I didn't really have at home.
