What's up everybody and welcome back to Black Rockorn after thoughts of course I'm your host Amara and I am here with my husband and my co-host.

So this week we decided that we were going to re-release three episodes of missing women that we covered back when we kind of first started back in 2021 and all three of these cases were just stories that I felt like just needed more attention and with all of the new listeners and new people to the show.

I felt like it was a good time to kind of bring those episodes back to the surface because like I said with over a hundred I said in Instagram post with over a hundred plus episodes it's really easy for episodes to get lost especially when we're coming out with a new episode every week and I know that people you know some people binge listen some people don't some people are just trying to catch up but because of that I felt like it was just a really good idea to bring those stories back up to the surface.

And with the addition of after thoughts it would give us the opportunity to then discuss them during after thoughts.

Yeah and I think you told everybody we told everybody that this was going to happen.

Yeah for sure.

warned you guys about like maybe six after thoughts about it.

I think it was very very necessary just because of you know these stories not being known.

And these stories didn't get a lot of coverage and it was important for you to just you know re highlight.

Yeah exactly.

So these stories that need to be told and people need to know about.

Yeah and obviously there's other stories that we've covered on the show that are in the same you know predicament and you just need more attention but you know these are just the first three that we decided to do.

And I kind of wanted to like I said start from the beginning and you know Jennifer Hut Jennifer Blackman story in her and Darian mixed up Jennifer Blackman story.

Was was the episode six of the podcast so we're talking about very very early and so if you even listen to that podcast it sounds a little different episode sounds a little different in terms of just the style.

The cadence the style because it was my sixth episode guys so I was still kind of getting used to my writing style and how I wanted to tell these stories and and then it was also a story that didn't have a lot of information but it was a story I still wanted to tell so.

Which is a good way that you elevate a podcast for any podcast.

Yeah exactly like find ways to make it you know more understandable whatever and you improve like it you know if.

We're even trying we're even trying on I think if you listen to any podcast from the beginning even a podcast has been around for a long time like five years i'm pretty sure if you go back to their first episode they're going to sound different than their episode you listen to now because.

We grow as we learn this and I you know for those of you who don't know most of you do I had never done a podcast before this is not my world this was a new.

Endeavor for me a new environment so I had to get used to it and and as we continue to grow I'm sure.

When you listen in twenty twenty five episodes from twenty twenty two and twenty twenty three won't sound the same you know because we're going to grow but anyway so back to the stories so yes so this week we just decided to do these three stories and so we're just going to talk about them a little bit on after thoughts.

Unfortunately there hasn't been very many updates in any of these stories the alley Gilmore story kind of had the most updates because a suspect has been identified or a person of interest but.
