No, I made a decision in 1995

that I was gonna be doing something

that I wanted to do that was meaningful.

I'd already done a lot of unmeaning things and I jumped into the issue by going to

volunteering for John Max work with the ductees in Cambridge. I spent four months there and then I made

the decision to engage the issue politically.

Went to Washington, D.C. registered as a lobbyist.

I was the first person to do so in 1996 and that got the attention of some media, including the Washington Post.

They wrote some articles.

Now there's been over 600 articles written about at least my contributions and

involvement in this issue as an activist and an advocate for ending the truth embargo.
