The pod got hijacked a little bit,

although we're not going to talk about this

until the second half of the pod

by the JelineLinn-Hurt's contract on Monday, which I think everybody loves talking

about contracts.

I probably like talking about them a little bit less so because

really my only view is does it really matter if a guy makes 51 average or 48 average?

It is, it's an arms race, I get it.

But it just doesn't interest me that much. But anyway, we're going to talk about the Hertz deal in the second part of the pod.

And before that, we're going to talk about a whole bunch of draft stuff.

First, our guest this week is going to be

Alex Mortenson. You may know that last name. Alex is the son of Chris Mortenson, and Alex Mortenson is the University of Alabama Birmingham

offensive coordinator under Trent Dilfer on their rising football team.

And we're having Alex Mortenson on the pod.

He is Chris Mortenson's son, yes.

Because Alex was an analyst on the coaching staff last year and

being an analyst on a coaching staff you know in college football I guess you have to say you're an analyst and whatever, but you know Alex

Mortenson had a lot to do with the instruction of quarterbacks over the last few years.

He's been on that staff for nine years.

So I wanted him to come on to talk a little bit
