Summary

From the moment Katie Fusco learned that she was an adopted child, she longed to understand where she came from and why she was put up for adoption in the first place. At age 18, just as she was about to graduate high school and head off to college, Katie decided to make contact with her biological parents. Unfortunately, this choice came with a hard lesson. Some rocks should never be turned over.

0:58.1	In October of 1998, 37-year-old Anthony Fusco was living in a small house in Duchess
1:21.2	County, a large county on the eastern edge of New York about 80 miles north of Manhattan.
1:28.0	Anthony shared his home with his longtime sweetheart and wife of 15 years, Kelly Fusco,
1:34.3	along with their beloved daughter Nicole.
1:38.1	Throughout his life, Anthony had been a man of action and goodwill.
1:43.1	After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, climbed the ranks to
1:49.0	Chief Petty Officer and ultimately retired with a great reputation.
1:54.2	This was just the start of the goodwill that Anthony wanted to accomplish during his
1:59.2	lifetime.
2:01.1	After his military discharge, Anthony began working as a correctional officer at a federal
2:07.5	correctional institution, while also devoting himself to his local community and the people
2:14.2	around him.
2:16.0	On top of all the things I just listed, Anthony served as a member of his town's zoning
2:21.8	board of appeals.
2:23.8	He was a member of a nonprofit that supports music programs for teenagers, and he was a
2:29.9	parishioner and CCD teacher at his local church.
