Today's goodbye is about the last Aya of Surat al-Hajj, thend Surah of the Quran, and this is the 78th Aya.

This is the ending Aya of the Surah.

This Surah had a huge impact on me when I was first learning the meanings of the

Quran and trying to understand the

Quran better many many years ago and I've spoken about it on occasion

throughout the years and I felt today I felt the need to review the lessons of

this aya and I think in shalahutale you'll benefit from them as well.

I want to start off by giving you a strange sort of a lesson.

You have to keep that in mind so you can appreciate the lessons of this Aya as well as possible in the short time that we have.

In the English language we have something called synonyms, right?

So for example choosing and selecting can be considered the same thing.

I selected this and I chose this is pretty much the same meaning, right?

Or I'm somebody's happy or somebody's joyous or somebody's angry or somebody's upset.

These are words that are close in meaning to each other. or somebody's angry or somebody's upset.

And even though there may be some differences between them,

we tend to use them interchangeably.

Allah when he speaks, he sometimes uses the same word or the same meaning but different words

and specifically what I want to talk to you about today is the different words Allah uses for choice
