Hey, welcome and thanks for listening in today. Even after all these years, I still get this

giddy feeling when I get the chance to record something that in this moment means a great deal to

me in hopes that it will

also resonate with you. Today, it's a song titled Altars Over Stages. I've been playing it on

my phone during workouts and it's just really been playing in my head for about a week. So give me just

a few minutes to set it up and then we will go through these lyrics together and I

assure you that it is rich with ideas that you can use right away. So here's what's behind all

of this. Several months ago, both of my boys, Nick and Luke started talking to me about two

artists, two singers they'd been listening to who both write faith-based content. One of them, probably the more

popular one overall, is named Forrest Frank, and the other guy is Josiah Queen. Now, I knew

absolutely zero about either of these guys, but we would ride together in the car and different

things and listen. And I like the first guy. He's pretty upbeat and really more appeals to a younger audience.

But that second guy, Josiah Queen, he's a lot more chill, which fits my 45-year-old ears.
