Good evening, everybody. I'm Scott Feinberg, trustee professor here at Chalbun University and the executive editor

of awards coverage at The Hollywood Reporter.

And like you, I am so excited to be joined today by one of the most talented, versatile, and

popular actresses of her generation.

She's only 39, but she has been working in this business already for more than 25 years.

Her credits include big studio blockbusters like 2004's Mean Girls, 2008's Mamma Mia,

2000 Ted's Dear John, edgy indie is like 2009's Chloe and 2013's Lovelace,

award-winning picks like 2012's Les Mers-Rab, 2017's First Reformed, and 2020s Mank, for which

she received the best supporting actress Oscar nomination, some really great TV programs including the HBO drama series Big Love from 2006 through 2011 the 2022 Hulu limited series the dropout for which he won Emmy Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards and most recently the Peacock Limited Series Long Bright River, which dropped on March 13th

and in which she plays a single mom who works as a Philadelphia cop and is investigating the disappearance

of her own sister.
