Hello and thank you very much for downloading the Scotland Outdoors podcast.

I'm Mark Stephen.

To a certain extent, we're still in the midst of lockdown at the moment, which is changing

the way we're doing things.

The podcast is normally predicated on the live radio program we do for BBC Radio

Scotland called Out of Doors. We're getting so much comment from folk coming in. It seems

a pity not to include that. So this is what we're up to this week.

And a very good morning here. Blue sky's up there and there are about half a dozen

swifts flying in front of a half moon. There's drama here in the car park at BBC Aberdeen

because there's two crows fighting on. They've managed to coop the bird feeder off the rowing tree

and they're playing tug-a-war with it across there and there's a pigeon just waiting to see

if anything falls out that they might be able to wander in and snaffle.

It's exciting times, I tell you.

I'm Mark Stephen with me this morning, Mr Ewan McElwreath.

Even more exciting up here because we've got a rodeeer just strolling quietly through the barley,

which is just changing colour to that yellow colour.

But we had fantastic fun yesterday because two squirrels arrived at the squirrel feeder.
