I was born in San Diego, California and raised here and I currently still live here.

So it was the perfect place to grow up because not only do we have the

ocean right here but we have the mountains that are an hour and 15 minutes to the east of us

where we get snow. So it goes up from the coast up to 5,000 feet in about an hour and 15 to

hour and 20 minutes. So we had this great dynamic of the ocean, the mountains and in between the

coast and the mountains we had all sorts of reservoirs. So my life was really centered around water

whether it was the ocean, the local lakes or some of the I guess we call them coastal creeks

up in the higher elevations where we had rainbow trout. So you know and my dad was a big

big outdoorsman. He loved to fly fish, he loved the conventional fish, he loved to ocean fish

and he was also a big bird hunter. So our life was just always outdoors. So I was fortunate
