Summary

Hello everyone!

I've been working on a project for iheartradio and Double Elvis in the US. It's a fictionalised account of Bob's life from '66 to now, told to us in a dream like setting from a single narrator.

Can't wait for you to hear the full thing, IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TO WRITE... There's so many weird Bob stories!

The first episode is out Wednesday 2nd March.

Hello, this is Ben here, and I'm dropping into your podcast feed to bring you a little something.

0:05.7

This is a trailer for a project I've been working on for a while now. I've mentioned this a few times on the podcast,

0:11.6

and now it's time to bring you full details about Blood on the Tracks Season 3. So Blood of the Tracks is a podcast that already exists.

0:20.1

It's brought to you by Double Elvis

0:21.9

Productions and Jake Brennan, host of the award-winning music and true crime podcast, Disgraceland,

0:27.6

which you might have heard of. It's a big, big podcast. Blood on the Tracks is part true

0:32.2

crime, part historical fiction, part spoken word. They call it lo-fi beat noir. And basically every season is

0:39.7

about a different musician or a different person in the music industry. They've done a season on

0:44.1

Phil Spector and a season on John Lennon. And now it's the turn of, you guessed it, Bob Dylan.

0:50.1

Season three is called a Bob Dylan story. I've been the lead writer on this and essentially it's a fictionalised account of Bob's life from 1966 right through to now.

1:01.4

The idea being that he has the infamous motorcycle crash in July 66. He's recovering from that at a local doctor's house and he's in bed thinking about his life so far

1:13.4

but also crucially looking forward to what may come in a sort of dream-like state.

1:19.1

It was such a joy to write this. Honestly, this was a dream project rather for a Dylan fan

1:24.2

to write a fictionalised account of his life. Like my normal podcast, it dives deep into the

1:30.7

world of Bob Dylan and everything that has to offer, but in a slightly different way, because

1:34.4

it is part fictionalised, we also get to explore the more fantastical and transgressive aspects of

1:40.4

Dylan's life. So whilst it is factual, it's also fantastical at the same time.

1:45.7

As I say, it was such a joy to write this.

1:48.0

There's 10 episodes coming out.

1:49.3

The first episode will be out on March the 2nd.

1:51.9

That's next Wednesday.

1:53.0

And here is a trailer to Wait Your Appetites.
