Well, it is true crime Tuesday on a Wednesday, and we're getting an update from our friend Aphrodite Jones on what is going on with the Karen Reed trial.

Now, Aphrodite yesterday, they had opening statements in this trial.

What is the latest?

So, first of all, let me tell you that the crowd outside is so crazy.

The judge has ordered a 200-foot buffer zone around the

support of the Karen Reed and the supporters of John O'Keefe that are at each other. One guy got

arrested and booked for trespassing, so it's serious outside with the craziness. In terms of what

happened inside, opening statements, there's new evidence. We have a new prosecutor,

Hank Brennan, who represented Whitey Bulger, if you know who that is, a mobster, famous mobster.

And he is bringing up scientific evidence that has never been presented before about what the cell phone of John O'Keefe, the victim, the Boston cop who was killed,

what his cell phone reveals.

And I have to tell you, it's fascinating to me.

I did not know that from cell phone data, you can get the, if you use Waze and they were

using Ways, it pinpoints the exact place your car was by the inch by inch.

So that's on one side.

On the other side, we have a defense saying that there was a dirty, corrupt investigator, Michael Proctor, who was fired, okay, and is no longer part of this case.

And the defense is saying because he was covering up for his friends, because he had a motive to do so, other cops are involved, he's indicating

that John O'Keefe did not die from a collision. Right. That's what I saw. Okay, so what are they

saying that he died from?

Well, the judge ordered they are not allowed to bring up a third party reference in opening statements.

They have to prove it during trial. So we'll hear about it. But what he alluded to is that his body was warm when he was, when was killed someplace warm meaning inside that house his
