Hey sir and listeners, this is chapter nine in my deep dive on apologies and forgiveness.

0:05.0

I thought I would start off this chapter by continuing my analysis of Chris Brown's apology

0:10.4

to the public, which I am a part of, so he's apologizing to me. So as an introduction to the deep

0:15.9

dive lecture on apologies and forgiveness, I thought I would watch this. Some of the thing,

0:20.7

when you hear about all the things that the police and the reports say you did,

0:25.1

do you react to that? I don't, I got to just look at it and like, wow, like, I'm in shock because

0:32.1

first of all, that's not who I am as a person and that's not who I promise I won't be. So I just,

0:37.6

when I look at like the police reports or I hear about the police reports, I don't know,

0:41.3

I don't know what to think. I just don't know what to think. It's just like, wow.

0:45.1

You remember doing it? No. Don't remember doing it. I don't, I don't, it's like, it's crazy to me,

0:51.9

like, wow. Okay, if that is true, which I have talked about previously while reacting to this,

0:59.5

that that can be the case sometimes that people will say they see red or they will be told that

1:06.4

they were violent with someone even long spans of violence can occur with people that are

1:11.5

dissociative or having a traumatic reaction and or highly intoxicated, right? I don't know if I

1:16.9

included a clip, but Larry Keynaston if he was intoxicated and Chris Branson didn't want to talk

1:21.8

about it. So that, you know, leaves the door open for him to have been intoxicated. Some extent,

1:27.2

if he was severely intoxicated in alcohol, then often people will forget and won't encode memories

1:33.8

during that time. But anyway, so anyway, if that's true, if he doesn't remember, you, you think he

1:38.2

would have a better response to that. He would be like, yeah, I don't remember any of that. I

1:42.7

remember bits and pieces, but the story as it, I understand it to happen, it's shocking to me,

1:49.9

you know, something like that, not just like, oh, yeah, I don't, I don't remember. He just seems so

1:54.8

nonchalant like he just doesn't even care. Did he say to you Joyce when this happened the first
