In its press release covering earnings for the first quarter of fiscal year 25, Apple reported

its best quarter ever, with revenue of $124.3 billion, up 4% from a year ago.

That was on earnings per share of $2.40, up 10% year-on-year and setting another all-time record.

Here's the thing, though, setting records is fairly typical for Apple, especially out of a
