Hi, everybody. This is Radio Free Mormon, broadcasting behind enemy lines and coming at you on Sunday afternoon with my recap and review and post-mortem of the fifth and final session of the April 2025 General Conference and nobody is happier to hear those words than yours truly. I'm very, very excited at this point because it

0:21.7

means there's only one more session. I've already sat through it. I've done the hard work,

0:26.9

took notes, paid attention as best I could, though sometimes it gets difficult. Sometimes it is

0:31.3

mind-numbingly boring. And here to report to you, which I'll try and keep as short and hopefully

0:37.3

interesting as possible.

0:38.7

Once again, Radio Free Mormon watching General Conference so you don't have to.

0:44.5

You know, I was talking to Bill Reel during the last session and the start of this past session

0:50.1

and talking to him on the phone and telling him that framing this whole thing, you know,

0:56.5

it's very difficult to watch General Conference. It's difficult to watch one talk, honestly.

1:01.1

Put them all together for two hours. That's pretty tough. But then watching multiples of those

1:06.3

and watching five sessions in one weekend, that's got to be like the worst, one of the worst

1:10.4

weekends of your life to do that. But I do it willingly because I'm becoming a savior figure now

1:16.1

to post-Mormonism, doing the sacrifice for your benefit. Oh my gosh. But I was talking to Bill,

1:23.4

because it is so hard. And I think most people agree, this isn't easy. It's not easy to do. You don't see a lot of people lining up for this job.

1:32.6

But framing it, as I have been doing for the past four sessions since the beginning, as like a telethon, making a play on the Jerry Lewis, Labor Day telethon and calling it the Radio Free Mormon

1:46.2

General Conference Telethon asking you to donate at Radiofree Mormon.org. Go there, click

1:53.3

the donate button because we're trying to find a cure for Mormonism. Just peppering these podcasts with that makes it better.

2:03.6

It makes it better than it would otherwise be.

2:05.6

But like I told Bill, it's not like it makes it good.

2:08.6

It just makes it less horrible to watch General Conference to frame it that way.

2:13.6

So I do hope that if you haven't already, you will go to Radiofmormon.org and make that donation, a monthly donation, a recurring donation is

2:21.3

great, one time is great, whatever you can afford. We appreciate it. All lift where you stand.
