0:41.6	So this essay on urbanism, city planning, and architecture focuses on Leon Creer.
0:52.5	Who is Leon Creer. Who is Leon Creer?
0:56.4	He is a very interesting and unusual figure.
1:02.7	He was born in Luxembourg City and grew up there in the 50s and 60s with dreams of becoming an architect.
1:16.6	He seems to have been at that point thoroughly infused with modernism,
1:21.0	and when he won a prize for something at school,
1:24.4	he spent on a beautiful copy of the works of
1:27.7	complete works of Le Corbusier.
1:31.7	And he actually retains quite a Cobusian presence.
1:39.7	He is very forceful and emphatic in the way he talks, and he's adept at communicating with words and cartoons and buildings.
1:54.6	And his older brother was an architect, and he went off to study architecture in Stuttgart,
2:01.9	the way that you would if you were going down the conventional route.
2:06.1	But in Stuttgart, he came away like many people who go to architecture school expecting
2:14.1	in to be one thing.
