Great to be here Connor. Yeah and we've we've already had a very robust and enjoyable off-air conversation, so good to know

overall on the same page about many things.

And it's a shame that I didn't run into you because we're both at the start of last week but you're a busy man and I mention

ark because there's been a recent demographics paper put out by Philip and Paul over at Ark which as we said wasn't discussed on the main stage which I was surprised about

seems that some issues are maybe still too to-to-boo but I know that you had a chat with them about that

I presume that by the time this interview is out the

that chat will be up and ready for everyone to see and I wanted to mention that

because on Monday there was an event hosted by Miriam Cates in the sense of

social justice that featured Philip and they're talking about the findings of his paper and the major shocking headline that came from that was that in 2083 it could be that Britain is 54% first generation immigrant and he described that as a large

scale social experiment. The chair of that particular event Fraser Nelson of

the Spectator said he was scaremongering not because he quibbled with the numbers that Philip had come up with,

but because the suggestion that this would have any adverse cultural outcomes or any kind of conflict

was somehow abhorrent to him.

He said it made him uncomfortable because we have

Hindu Prime Minister, Buddhist Home Secretary,

Muslim Mayor of London and London seems to be working very well. So I suppose to tee you up then, why is the

migration debate so radioactive and why do you seem to be one of the only men brave enough to tackle

it within the academy?
