Today we're going to be recapping some of the standout films from the New York Film Festival,

as well as the opening film of the London Film Festival, the world premiere of Steve McQueen's

Blitz, which we have talked quite a bit about on this podcast.

We're also going to then in our second segment take a deep dive into best supporting actor.

Last week we did supporting actors so we figured why not go to the other end of the aisle.

But first and foremost, there are a bunch of movies and maybe awards worthy movies out in theaters this weekend, and it's kind of going to be this way pretty much until the end of 2024.

So we're going to try to start at least a few of our episodes every month

with just a kind of a preview of what's coming out each weekend and our thoughts on them.

Maybe it will help you decide what to see or what to vote for.
