Today's study comes from the exact same verses that we studied yesterday because I feel like

we need to be thorough. Let God be thorough with you.

1 John chapter 2 verses 12 through 14. We read yesterday. We're about to read it again. I really

believe gives the two greatest evidences, the birth marks that we've been born again. Remember,

we're giving a long list. Yesterday's was

the seventh. Today's is the eighth, and it really is just the outgrowth of the other. It is this.

One of the great evidences that you belong to God is that not only have you been born again, but you

are growing. That doesn't mean that your life is earning salvation. No, salvation is a

settled fact. Settled on the moment you put your faith and trust in Christ and Christ alone for

your soul's salvation, but there is evidence that that was real in your life by the fact that

you're still growing.

May I ask you, are you growing?

Was there a moment where you stopped growing spiritually?

Has your growth been stunted?
