Welcome to another episode of Why You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast.

And today, I am pleased to introduce to you, Ari Shafir, America's one true comedian.

Now, in recent months or years, you may have seen videos pop up all over the place,

deeming Ari Shafir the most evil man in comedy or a villain of some kind.

Now, this is a history of comedy podcast where we've dissected a lot of the legends in comedy.

And really, based on our name, this program was named after something Patrice O'Neill said,

we seem to take stand-up comedy as a serious art form here.

That's our goal anyways.

And if we're doing that, then I submit that Ari Sheffir might be the only true stand-up in America.

The only man with comedy running through his blood and a man who upholds the morals that most

comedians claim to hold near and dear to their heart.

Ari Sheffir is the only man that acts these things out.
