Yeah, we had slightly weird schedule this week because obviously the Bristol City

FA Cup game was called off.

So usually would have done a podcast on Monday about that game, but it didn't happen,

so we couldn't do it.

But obviously, kind of anticipated that there would be news coming this week on the

managerial appointment.

And of course, by the time you're listening to this,

you will know that it is Renee Slagers, who has the job full-time,

and we will talk about that presently.

To let you behind the curtain a bit,

we are actually recording this a little bit ahead of the announcement.

Was actually expecting the announcement by now.

So we're going to talk as if we're in the future a little bit.

But obviously we'll talk about that and we'll talk about the process, as it were, of

arriving at René, but also I think some very interesting quotes from Jonas Idavel a couple of weeks ago

ahead of him taking the San Diego wave job. He did a little bit of a media round and really

grateful to Frieda Fargolyn from Afton Blade at, I've probably butchered the pronunciation

of that Swedish outlet because she interviewed Jonas and she translated the quotes for us on

our blog news. So we'll go through some of the things he had to say because I think that was a

very interesting interview. We'll probably do that in the first half and here to do that with me
