And I've abandoned my plans to go to London Colney today for Rene Slaugers Press Conference

to record this because Thursday evening was quite exciting, wasn't it?

And we were in the eye of the storm a little bit. So obviously,

Arsenal made quite a big deadline day signing in the kind of closing minutes. Also lost the

player as well, gained another player earlier in the day, which we already knew about. And I was

all set to do a podcast about her with another guest, but that's going to be confined to the drafts folder

or whatever the podcast equivalent of a draft folder is. So, Jamie isn't available today because

she is going to go to London Colney for René Slager's press conference, so she'll be there. And we

thought we really had to do a pod about this, quite frankly.

So I'm kind of hosting it, but I'm kind of the guest as well.

And it's actually going to be Andrew, who's going to be asking me the questions to get the kind of meat of the podcast

and to get all of the information to you about how everything went down.

And frankly, probably the weirdest and most hectic transfer window I've ever worked on.
