0:38.8	latest goings on in the realm of art and art history. This is Art Curious News this week,
0:45.1	and today is Friday, February 17th, 2023. For today's first story, it is the exhibition breaking
0:53.1	records left and right, the landmark Vermeer
0:56.3	exhibition at the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam, featuring more paintings by the Dutchmaster than any
1:02.9	other show in history. Just days after the show's opening, the museum announced that it has
1:09.4	sold out of every single currently available ticket to the show.
1:14.4	I say currently available because the museum did note that they are, quote, working hard to ensure
1:20.9	more people have the opportunity to see the exhibition, unquote. So for what it's worth,
1:26.4	there might be additional chances to grab tickets
1:29.1	in the near future. But the Rijks Museum is currently staying vague on this. My guess is that they'll
1:36.1	do more late nights and extended hours and maybe even some of those really fun 24-hour extravaganzas
1:42.5	where folks can visit the museum in the middle of the night.
1:45.8	But I don't know for sure, and for now, this is all just speculation.
1:50.5	So for those of you who were hoping to see the show but hadn't yet been able to nab your tickets,
