This is, once again, Art Curious News this week, and this will get you up to date on some

And I truly had a number of really interesting stories to choose from this week, but I

specifically wanted to choose something very positive this week. And so all of our

stories this week are very happy ones. And this first one is something that I actually alluded to

earlier this spring when I released our series called Cherche la Fem here on the podcast,

which was all about repurposing a misogynistic French phrase in favor of finding the women who are sometimes left out of the art history books.

One of my favorite episodes from that season was about Joe Van Gogh Bonger, the sister-in-law of Vincent Van Gogh.

And Joe is truly the woman responsible for bringing that artist to the limelight and why he is so

frequently considered to be one of the most popular artists year after year all around the world.
