Hey everyone, and welcome to this episode of the Happy Hour Podcast. I'm your host, Gretchen Garrity.

And as you can tell by the title, this week's episode is going to be an advice episode.

Just my hot takes on everything. I don't even know if they're specifically hot takes.

Just my opinions on all of your questions, situations because there's something about me.

It's that I always have an opinion. I was actually inspired to do this episode because I was recently told by one of my friends that I give good advice.

She might have even said, Gretchen, you give great advice. And it went right to my head, okay?

But I have been thinking about it. And not just like pat myself on the back, but I feel like I've gotten that from several friends over the years.

I always turn to you for advice, or you always know what to do or what to say, or like, you give good advice.

And now that's becoming my personality, of course, that I give good advice.

And so I thought I should do an episode dedicated to giving you guys advice. And clearly, I have the best advice out there.

Obviously, take it all with a green assault. It's just biased towards me and my experience, my opinions.

But I really feel like with a lot of my girlfriends that actually recently, especially when I'm Dr. Phil,

I just feel like I'm the friend that my friends turn to when they have a question, want an opinion, want advice.

I'm actually thinking about like several of my friends right now, sending me voice notes, leaving me a voicemail, texting me, calling me,

based on whatever being like, hey, I just want your advice on this. And now that I'm thinking, I am like so honored.

I'm feeling very, yeah, that's so sweet of my friends that they take my advice into consideration.

And I just like really appreciate it that they think I have a good idea for whatever the situation may be.

I don't know, it's just dawning on me now that I'm like, wow, that's like, so I don't even know the feeling.

I'm just honored as all I can say. I'm like, wow, like, thanks for trusting your situation in life with my opinion over here.

Do you really want my advice? But yeah, I just feel like I said I always have an opinion.

One way or another, I'm a pretty decisive person. And pretty much always I know what I think in a situation or what I want to do.
