I'm so happy to be here.

I'm excited to talk to our guest.

Yeah, we get to be with Paula Ferris today, who's just a delight. She's been on some Dream Big podcast before, and I've known her from here and there.

And so, Paula, welcome to the podcast.

Thank you so much for having me, you guys. What an honor and a treat. No, this is great for us. And then the listeners are just such a wonderful menagerie of people. There are people where faith is guiding all their steps. Others not so much. Others want to write books. Still others are just interested in listening in.

And so, Polly, you've written a new book. And it's a kid's book. Tell us about that.

Yes. It's called Who Do You Want to Be when you grow up? And my third book, and my final book, by the way, how many times have you heard people come on here and say,

the last book I've ever written in my life?

The book released a couple, like back in September, and I really wanted to kind of disrupt that

question that we're asking our children and asking ourselves, what do you do?

You know, you see those back to school signs. When I grow up, I want to be a blah, blah, blah,

as if kids are going to figure it out and also like give them permission to dream big. They don't

have to just do one thing. You know that from your own life, Bob, right? You didn't have to just

be a lawyer forever and ever.

I think we back ourselves into a corner when we say, what do you want to do?

You have to be this one thing. And also, as adults, we place so much emphasis on achieving and accomplishment and spotlight. The second question you ask somebody when you meet them is,
