Well, thanks for having me. It's my great pleasure to come on on short notice for something like this.

I, um, I, um, I something like this. I was introduced to the Assange family in 2021, his father and

brother when they came through Denver at the Denver Press Club. Funny there was no Denver Press there. They must have not gotten the email.

But nobody was interested in talking to them except a couple of independent journalists. So they gave us a they gave me 20 minutes to sit down with them and get to the bottom of how they're feeling and what their thoughts are and what the Australian government was doing and I'll tell you they were physically worn down by it all you could see in their faces they looked

you know they looked like they felt you know I mean they were it was a grind for them I was a

little surprised to hear his father say that the Australian government had

been so helpful he they were of the opinion that the Australian government was actually helping, which I was kind of stunned here. I was like really and he said not all of them of course, but there are a couple people in there that are really

doing the heavy lifting and we've we've attached ourselves to them and they seem to

be helping okay good well that that's that's surprise. And then we went over collectively as a group to the head of the in front of the capital building in Denver and did the, you know, they had microphone set up and the family spoke to the crowd and the, and then a couple members of it, we all took turns speaking to the crowd and things like that. That's the first time I'd ever done that. Never felt

interested, compelled for anybody than Julian Assange. And because of what he represents,

I mean, he really showed the true nature

of the empire to the general public

with the collateral murder video that he showed that was the helicopter gun ship

footage of Iraq when the Al Jazeera journalists were murdered with the belief that they were holding

AK-47s, they were holding cameras, and, you know, the light-em-up video.

And that is what turned public opinion against that war.

I mean, a case could be made that there was already public opinion
