Good afternoon and hello everybody, welcome to at the table with Tom and Eric.

I'm it's a show about people who play games. You know what, stop giving me a script. I'm

talking about that. And I'm Eric Summerer. Our guest at the table today is the designer of

Mystic Vale, Space, Space, Cubie, Toes, Ready, Set, Bet and lots more. I'm very excited to talk

with them today. Please welcome John DeClayer, hello John. Hey guys, happy to be here.

I'm also excited because last time I talked to John, I did not have a voice and I'm still mad

about that because I already said that thing. That was a real bummer. Yeah, I was all excited.

I haven't actually played Ready, Set, Bet with you prior to that. So I was like, all right,

you know, Tom's. If there's one thing people know, I can roll the dice at least though.

Yeah, that is true. That was one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had folks. So

we did a live Ready, Set, Bet event at Dice Tower West. And John was kind enough to join us.

So he was helping moderate tables and teach the game. He was playing. He was a ranger playing.

You're right. He was a ranger that was playing. I'm so badly too.

And Tom was rolling the dice like a madman. And usually Tom runs everything. He not only rolls

the dice, but he does the talking part of the race calling. And I had to follow along with Tom's

frantic dice rolling. And it was the most stressful thing I've done in a long time.

Eric, I'm not lying or exaggerating. I was rolling a dice half as slow as I rolled them when

I'm talking. But that's because that's because the synapses in your eyes, it's kind of like

if I drop a piece of paper, you can't catch it. But I could because I know there's just

something about that. And you knew where you were throwing dice. And I had to find them and

add them up. And you know, it was all sorts of all sorts of stressful. So this is far less stressful

for me just chatting with you, John, as opposed to the last time we got to hang out. Tom, any
