Let's start over to the Book of James this evening.

How many obvious this will be your first service that you've made during this series?

Could I see your hand? Still got a lot of new people. Well, it's been a great series. You've

missed a blessing. And so you need to get the CDs or the DVDs from the previous times out

there and we've already got those duplicated we'll have tonight's duplicate

within five minutes of the close of this service. Let's turn to the book of James and in chapter 4.

I'm going to share some things that may not sound like it goes along with what I've

been teaching, but it really does. I've been teaching about grace and faith. How that grace is what God does,

faith is what we do. And the body of Christ is basically broken into two camps. Some people will emphasize everything that God does

and they will emphasize it to a degree that it really doesn't matter what you do. It's just

God is sovereign. God is going to move independent of you.

It has nothing to do with you.

It doesn't matter what people do.

And the extreme, the errors on that side

lead to wrong teaching about the sovereignty of God that it doesn't matter what you do.

It leads to ultimate reconciliation to all kinds of errors where people just become lazy and don't seek God and they

don't believe God or do anything because after all it's just up to God. God

controls everything. But the errors on the other side are it leads to legalism and you get
