Hello and a warm welcome to this week's episode, episode number five of the True Crime Enthusiast podcast.

0:07.1

As always, I'm Paul, your host and the True Crime Enthusiast of the title, and I begin as ever by thanking you the listener for joining me.

0:14.9

I do hope you've all had a good week and your continued support means the world, so thanks very much, guys.

0:22.3

I was very heartened by the response received from the previous two-part episode of the podcast, that concerned in the case of

0:27.2

the Stockwell Strangler. It rapidly became the most successful episodes to date, which I was

0:32.5

very pleased about, and I thank you for that. I'm also grateful for the many kind reviews that the podcast has

0:38.5

received on iTunes to date. As I mentioned last week, iTunes seems to be a bit weird in that

0:44.1

0:55.4

I'm sure many fellow podcasters out there will appreciate what I'm saying.

0:59.4

and to know that your time and effort is appreciated.

1:08.3

Even honest reviews, as I've said throughout the podcast so far, I appreciate

1:12.6

honesty and constructive criticism. So if you do get the time, and of course if you wish, I'd be

1:18.5

most grateful for an honest review of the show on the usual platforms. That would be brilliant.

1:23.7

On the subject of reviews, I'd like to give a shout out to the great US-based podcast whining about crime,

1:30.0

who was very kind to mention the true crime enthusiast in a plug following their latest episode.

1:35.4

One of the things I love about the true crime community is just how much they support and shout out for one another,

1:41.5

and through their championing, others get recognised and get across to a wider

1:45.6

audience i firmly believe this is how a community should be and i'm glad to extend the same courtesy here

1:51.7

so i'm going to make a regular feature of the podcast of passing on a couple of recommendations of other
