There are very few things as exciting as putting your sights onto a bear.

Dangerous type game just seems to get your blood flowing and your energy levels hyped up in a way that other things don't.

It's different and it's special.

I'm sitting here, you probably hear a campfire in the background you might hear some

hounds baying in the distance I'm sitting here in Idaho with table mountain

Folks, thanks for joining me for a little informal campfire discussion here tonight.

So we got Mike, as I mentioned, and then we got Scott and Angie Denny

the owners originators proprietors and operators of Table Mountain Outfitters and

Keaton their son.

Now Keden was my guide for this hunt and a pretty cool experience.

In the past I've shot bears, quite a few bears spot in stock in a couple of states. I've shot bears over bait in multiple states.

Shot one bear that we called in with a predator call, a very hungry boar that I shot at 18 yards just before you got too close for comfort,

but I've never shot one with hounds before. When I was a kid I grew up hunting with a pack of hounds but we

primarily just hunted mountain lines because that's mostly what we had in my area in

southern Utah. So this was just a cool experience kind of going back to some of the things I loved as a young man and

seeing some spectacular dogs working this really green verdant area of kind of Western Central Idaho.

There's a lot of rain here, big pine forests and the vegetation, of course this is a wet year but it's just

it's almost jungle-like it's pretty cool to see yeah it's nice to have that

precipitation for once yeah I know let a break that drought that's plagued so much to the west for so long.
