How are you feeling?

I feel proud of it. are you

excited?

I'm thinking excited is not the right

adjective because I it's not a story that I was ever really dying to tell it's not like I thought

oh this is this is great material I just

work through something traumatic and you know you go through therapy and you want to just work through it and in your private life

but that became part of the healing was recognizing how relatable my story was to so many other people who hadn't been in something as dramatic as a cult and yet somehow I was finding myself in conversations with so many women in particular, but so many people who had found themselves in this kind of dynamic relationally.

And the more I had that conversation the more that brought healing to me and then when the opportunity for writing a book came up it just felt like

This is the right thing to do. It's also what good are our mistakes if we can't.

It's honestly one of the things I love about you

and listening to your show is that there's this sense

of like an open mess.

Like, and it's, please don't take that the wrong way.

But it's actually really wonderful and really comforting

to see somebody just living in this space of, I don't know, and also look at this stupid decision
